A busy surgery but all the staff are efficient and courteous. A recent refit in the downstairs waiting area brings a splash of colour and more space to wait in. There is a free car park on site which can fill quickly but there is often on street parking available too.
I've always been seen on the same day. Helpful staff and great doctors and nurse

Not sure this is the best place to share your experience, the NHS site is more accurate. I joined the Thornhill surgery a year ago as Bitterne was absolutely dire. Yes they can take time to answer the phone here but that aside the admin care I have received there is about as good as you can expect across the country at the moment. Plus side is the doctors and nurses actually listen and act on your concerns. Downside is the lack of privacy at reception which needs redesigning.

I walked into this surgery off the street and was greated by two receptionist's very respectfully pleasant staff with a warm welcome and smile. I asked to use the restroom and was pointed in the right direction even though I am not a patient at this surgery. The facilities were above average, very clean and tidy, very well maintained with no bad odour. The men's toilets were in my opinion Grade A. I left the restroom and proceeded to exit and heard the women at desk say goodbye. I did in fact use this surgery many years ago and at that time I found the doctors here exceptionally brilliant and very very decent and respectful. I rate this surgery 5/5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. Absolutely fantastic!!!. Thanks for reading my review. Jon.
I have been registered with the surgery for over 4 years now and always had great experience with doctors, nurses and staff. Always helpful, always have time to appoint and each doctor has different specialty, therefor I am always seen by one who could give the best advice and help. Thank you all for providing such an excellent service in the difficult times for NHS.
Level C, Royal South Hants Hospital, Brintons Terrace, Southampton SO14 0YG, UK – 0333 321 8269
Consultation available over Christmas but as so often with the NHS, different advice offered from each service we were sent to.
I received fantastic service from the staff and felt the hospital was clean and neat.

Fairly low waiting times and well equipped hospital. The staff are always super friendly here and they have some walk in clinics for sexual health and minor injuries.
The service inside is efficient and the building is clean but the car parking signage and access is very poor. Confusing layout funnels the driving visitors into the staff only parking and poorly positioned signs don't assist the visitor to find usable spaces. The access to the complex is via a one way traffic system that only compounds any problems. Great internal building in the wrong place.
